Fondazione Santagata is collaborating with the International Training Center of the International Labour Organization (ITC ILO) and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) on a capacity development programme for senior professionals working in the Cultural and Creative Industries.

This programme will be an occasion for cultural and professional exchange that shall establish a solid basis for future cooperation.

As part of this collaboration, a delegation of senior tourism, heritage and museum professionals from Abu Dhabi will be conducting a study tour of the Piedmont region from 11 to 16 September. 2023.

The tour will be designed around three main objectives:

  • Introduce DCT professionals to the creative and cultural industries ecosystem in and around Turin,
  • Meet key personnel working in Turin’s selected museums, heritage sites and cultural institutions,
  • Explore collaboration and cooperation linkages between Abu Dhabi, Turin and the Piedmont region at large.

Throughout the stay, the Delegation will have the opportunity to discover the cultural landscape of Turin and the Piedmont region, accompanied by Fondazione Santagata’s team who will introduce our guests to local professionals and guide them through some cultural institutions of the city.
