On December 15th, 2015 the seminar called “Living Cultural Landscapes And The Challenge Of Tourism” takes place; it is held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris (Room XII) and organized by UNESCO CHAIR and the UNITWIN-UNESCO Network in “CULTURE, TOURISM, DEVELOPMENT” (Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne/IREST-EIREST) in collaboration with UNESCO World Heritage Centre, French World Heritage Sites Association and ICOMOS France.

Representatives and researchers from several European countries are here to discuss topics like the new dynamics and the relations among the management of UNESCO cultural landscapes, tourism impact and more in general, those needs of the inhabitants.

– “Landscape in a glass. Tourism, traditional wine-growing and market rules in the region of Portovenere, Cinque Terre, Tino and Palmaria Tinetto” by
Alessia Mariotti (Director of the Center of Studies on Tourism, University of Bologna in Rimini, director of CAST-UNIBO and also a member of the CSS)
– “The community involvement and sustainable tourism in the area of ​​the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato Heritage” by Aldo Buzio, director of the CSS.
