CSS organizes in co-operation with the Masters “World Natural Heritage Management” (TMS – Trentino School of Management) and “ World Heritage and cultural projects for development” (ITC-ILO), two workshops to discuss administration, management, and promotion of cultural areas focusing on UNESCO World Heritage. This event takes place from May 9th to May 10th, 2014.
On May 9th the “Governing the cultural landscapes” includes:
– in the morning:
1. the introductive lecture given by Professor Roberto Gambino at the Polytechnic University of Turin – Sala Vigliano (The Interuniversity Department of Regional And Urban Studies And Planning – DIST)
2. Some national and international cases are examined and discussed, like: Dolomites, Lesotho, Panama and Seychelles. Dislivelli Association also takes part in this discussion.
– in the afternoon:
1. Guests visit the castle and the ethnographic museum of Langhe di Grinzane Cavour and the complex of Fontanafredda in Serralunga d’Alba.

On May 10th “Marketing and cultural territories promotion” includes:
– in the morning:
1. A meeting at Ente Turisimo Alba, Bra, Langhe e Roero
2. Examination of the process of wine-producing landscapes of the application of Piedmont to be part of the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This examination is held by Roberto Cerrato who is also the president of “Wine Producing Landscape” of Langhe-Roero e Monferrato.
3. Guests visit the” F.lli Adriano di San Rocco Seno d’Elvio’s” farm.
– in the afternoon:
1. Guests visit Pollenzo’s agency and the University of Gastronomic Sciences. This visit is also possible thanks to the cooperation with Bra Municipality.
