The Study Centre Silvia Santagata takes part in the training activities and labs of the international project “Urban Landscape Bridging Cultures”. This is a bilateral project between China and Italy promoted and organized by CNR-IVCBC and by the University of Rome Tor Vergata. CSS-Ebla contributes to it coordinating the session called “Integrated and participatory management”, focusing on the promotion and the economic aspects of Cultural Heritage, from the understading of its contest to the opportunities of its development, using, for examples, models of management able to support the territory’s productivity, the building of networks and the using of new innovative tools like digital technologies. Works, takìing place in Palestrina and Castel S. Pietro Romano, from August 27th to September 4th, 2016, are in the frame of the existing collaboration with WHITRAP (World Heritage Institute on Training and Research for Asia and Pacific) and in particular they refer to the group of work for the application of the UNESCO Recommendation on Historic Urban Landscape on the Italian and European territories, with a special focusing on small and medium towns.
