Fondazione Santagata takes part in the implementation of the project “Safeguarding, transmission and valorizing the Musical Art of the Hunting Horn”, financed by the Law 77/2006 of the Ministry of Culture’s UNESCO Office, coordinated and carried out by Associazione Accademia di Sant’Uberto – Percorsi 1996 ONLUS, whose referent institution is the Consorzio delle Residenze Reali Sabaude.
CONTEXT AND RESULTS
Fondazione Santagata contributes to the Action addressing the Study and Safeguarding of the UNESCO Element “Musical art of horn players”, particularly in finalizing the Safeguarding detailed Plan.
The activity is developed by the community of Hunting Horn players, who are providing the guidelines to draft the Plan, especially concerning: transmission to younger generations, valorization, studies and research, development of an economic plan to implement the actions, definition of a participatory governance system and finding contributions to the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The development of the Safeguarding Plan will be shared with the community of players and with the other. The Plan will be formally approved by the community itself, who will share its steps with the UNESCO Service.
To complete the activity, during the 18 months of the project’s implementation we’ll carry out a mid-term evaluation on the progress of the actions of the Safeguarding Plan.
