May 3 to 5, between Selinunte and Palermo, a forum takes place about the pilot on the promotion of the international tourist trails in connection with cultural heritage, creativity and economic development. The goal of this forum is to train operational activities with reference to the latest best practices at international level, taking on the topics of good interpretation, participation and management of the cultural heritage, rising demand of the international traveler, opportunities coming from technology and new models of cultural entrepreneurship.
The project concerns a collaboration with the association “Phoenicians Route – Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe”, Center for Advanced Studies in Tourism – CAST and Research Centre Silvia Santagata, about mutual experiences and knowledge, is addressed to privates, public institutions, associations, experts of tourism, heritage, cultural projects, with a specific attention to the managers of the cultural trails of the Council of Europe and of UNESCO sites of Sicily and the Mediterranean Sea.
