Fondazione Santagata, on behalf of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo, is carrying out a monitoring activity on the 33 projects selected under the Luoghi Non Comuni Call. The initiative aims to systematically assess the effectiveness of the co-design processes implemented and to generate empirical evidence to inform the design of future funding instruments aimed at strengthening collaboration between the public sector and the third sector.

Context

The projects focus on enhancing cultural and environmental heritage, reactivating underused spaces, and experimenting with co-design models between Public Authorities and Third Sector organizations, with strong involvement of local communities.

Objectives

  • To verify whether and how co-design has been effectively implemented, and with what operational outcomes;

  • To collect systematic information on the functioning of partnerships, project progress, and long-term sustainability;

  • To analyze the level of local community involvement across the different phases of project implementation.

Expected results

  • A monitoring model applicable to all 33 projects and updated on a semi-annual basis;

  • A comparative analysis of the projects, identifying key success factors and critical issues;

  • Operational recommendations to improve future funding and grant-making instruments.
