On June 22nd, during the 38th World Heritage Committe in Doha, Qatar, “The Vineyard landscape of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato” was recognized as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
“The Vineyard landscape of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato” is the 50th Italian Word Heritage Site and the first Italian vineyard cultural landscape. CSS-Ebla staff were involved since the very beginning in the drafting of the management plan, in the supervision of the scientific part and in the technical assistance to siTi, that drafted the candidacy.
