The 24ª ICOM (the International Council of Museums) General Conference takes place in Milan from July 3 to 9, with its 35.000 members and 172 national and international committees. The main topic of this meeting is “Cultural Landscapes and Museums”. Research Centre Silvia Santagata-EBLA takes part in the session organized by the Committee for Education and Cultural Action (CECA) with a proposal about a new model to connect young people with museums, the city and territories, called “The Milan model of youth engagement” and presented by Elyse Resnick, recipient of scholarship Fulbright and Martha Friel from Research Centre Silvia Santagata-EBLA.
