The International Book Fair represents one of the main events of the world in this field. It is also one of the most relevant cultural exhibitions for what concerns size and contents in the city of Turin. In order to outline possible strategies for its future, especially after what has happened recently and after the essential reinstallation and renewing, it will be important to safely promote this event, also considering the urban dimension of Turin and the creative supply chains of the publishing industry. Furthermore, it will be important to also look at the economic and cultural value of the fair to understand and promote the benefits and the relationship.
Therefore, using five key words – creativity, community, innovation, business and professions, accessibility – we propose a few ideas for the future of this event that we hope can be used by the decision makers.
