Circus is one of the most ancient form of performing arts even if, Cultural Economcis totally ignored it. There are two reasons why this happened. On one side, Circus has been seen as a secondary element (wrongly) in the field of performing arts; on the other side, there is the huge issue to get data to analyze. The goal of this paper is to fill this gap through the analysis of the features of the audience of Circus in Italy. There have been submitted 268 questionnaries to the audience of the Aquatic Circus of Bellucci during one of the shows of the 2007 tour, in the city of Alessandria. Through the answers has been possible to identify the socio-demographic profile of the audience of Cirucus, the choices and the features of the effective and the declared cost of the sample.
