The Academy on Cultural and Natural Sites as Drivers of Sustainability and Global Citizenship 2025 is a dynamic capacity-building programme designed and delivered by Fondazione Santagata together with GAL Sulcis.

The 2025 edition unfolded in two complementary phases: an intensive online seminar in September 2025, followed by a three-day in-person workshop in Sardinia in October 2025. Together, these activities provided participants with a rich blend of theory, practice, and hands-on experiences.

This Report offers a comprehensive look at the 2025 Academy, highlighting key activities, achievements, and insights, while also outlining potential directions for future editions. It showcases how cultural and natural sites can serve as powerful drivers of sustainability, global citizenship, and cross-cultural dialogue.
