This paper aims to analyze the institutional perspectives of the cultural district of Caltagirone’s pottery. Thanks to the developing of the markets of intangible goods, ideas and design, the protection of the intellectual property avails itself of a strategic meaning. Plus, we have to consider the importance of a public policy aimed to the economic sustainable development of a localized industry (Benghozi and Santagata, 2001). According to this we believe that the industrial post Ford fase of the organized flexibility and of the transmission of the global markets is simplified by the assignment of the collective and individual property rights.
