Research on UN-Millenium Development Goals

CSS-Ebla conducted a research on the Joint Programmes on Culture and Development promoted by  the United Nations, funded by the Millenium Development Goals Achievement Fund and implemented in Africa, Arab States, Asia, Latin America and South East Europe between 2008 and 2011. Aiming at increasing socio-economic opportunities and improving cross-cultural understanding, the Joint Programmes focus on intercultural dialogue, cultural diversity and cultural expressions, cultural heritage and cultural industries. The research was conducted with a new method of network analysis that considers solidity and intensity of the projects realized in each field on projects implemented in 18 different countries:  Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Honduras, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nicaragua, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Senegal, Turkey, Uruguay.
