The results of the first edition of the TERE pilot programme are online
9 October 2025 – We are pleased to announce the organizations selected for the first edition of TERE – Ecological Transition in the Third Sector.
After receiving nearly 50 applications and following a thorough selection process coordinated by Fondazione Santagata in collaboration with Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, we are launching the support programme with 14 organisations active in the cultural, social, and environmental fields across Liguria, Piedmont, and Valle d’Aosta.
The pilot programme TERE stems from the shared commitment of Fondazione Santagata and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo to support the Third Sector in its ecological transition, translating into concrete action the outcomes of the national research project 4C – Cultural and Creative Carbon Cut.
The initiative aims to strengthen the social and cultural role of the Third Sector by integrating sustainability into strategic and operational models, while promoting good practices that can be replicated. Through this pilot group, TERE will test tools and approaches, foster shared knowledge, and encourage the dissemination of scalable sustainable models—ultimately driving lasting cultural change and reinforcing the Third Sector as a driver of social and environmental innovation.
We would like to thank all the organizations that took part in the call for interest, contributing to highlight the urgency and importance of ecological transition within the sector.
