The REEPLAI project – REaders of Europe Play Learn and Interact officially kicks off
Turin, February 19, 2024 – Today marks the official start of the REEPLAI project – REaders of Europe Play, Learn and Interact, an internationally co-funded initiative by Creative Europe aimed at promoting literature as a tool to enrich communities and celebrate cultural diversity in partner countries: Ukraine, Portugal, and Italy.
REEPLAI partners and international collaborators gathered in Turin for the first of three project kick-off days (February 19-21, 2024).
The first working day commenced with an introductory meeting among stakeholders at the Foundation’s offices, followed by a session of literary games at the Cavallerizza Gardens. Subsequently, project managers had the opportunity to discuss and define key aspects of the REEPLAI project at the Circolo dei Lettori in Turin.
Through the exchange of best practices and leveraging an international collaboration network, the project aims to spread innovative cultural practices and promote literature as a vehicle for knowledge and personal and collective transformative power.
Today’s activities were characterized by intensive exchanges among project partners, with the Sapegno Foundation leading the initiative. The Santagata Foundation for the Economy of Culture, the Municipality of Óbidos, the “Ukrainian Association of Culturologists” in Lviv, the Municipal Library of Lviv, and the Municipality of Morgex are all involved in this project that promises to bring new perspectives on literature and cultural interaction.
