Fondazione Santagata Hosts a Cuban Delegation in Turin to Explore New Collaboration Opportunities within the Transcultura Project
24 March 2024 – As part of the EU-funded project Transcultura, Fondazione Santagata is pleased to welcome a Cuban delegation to Turin, marking a significant step in our committment to fostering collaboration in the field of cultural heritage and restoration.
Building on our first mission to Cuba in December and the memorandum of understanding signed on that occasion, we have begun shaping concrete opportunities for cooperation.
Today, we are honored to host Gladys Collazo (Director of Heritage at the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana and Director of the Santa Clara College for Training in the Arts and Trades of Restoration of Cuba and the Caribbean) and Aitana Cabrera (Senior Specialist at the Santa Clara College) during their European visit aimed at strengthening ties with european partners.
The meeting held at Palazzo D’Azeglio, sees the participation of the Cuban delegation alongside key stakeholders, including Fondazione 1563, Compagnia di San Paolo, CCR, and Fondazione CRT. The meeting serves as a platform for exchanging insights on inspiring projects and exploring future joint initiatives.
