12 September 2025 – Tourism today represents a strategic driver for the enhancement of territories: not only as an economic engine, but also as a key to reinterpreting places and heritage in a sustainable perspective, integrating culture, communities, and innovation.

In a special year such as the Jubilee 2025, and in a symbolic city like Rome, the World Tourism Event (24–26 September 2025) will be a unique opportunity to reflect on these themes and foster dialogue between institutions, operators, and communities.

Fondazione Santagata will once again participate in the WTE – as an event partner – with two panels co-organized with the Associazione Beni Italiani Patrimonio Mondiale, in collaboration with WTE:

  • Jubilee, Itineraries and World Heritage Sites – 25 September

  • Attractiveness and Management of Tourist Flows in World Heritage Sites – 26 September

The full programme of the event, currently being updated, is available at this link.

Fondazione Santagata’s participation in WTE reaffirms its commitment to promoting models of regenerative tourism, designed to enhance territories, engage local communities, and strengthen the sustainability of heritage.
