Fondazione Santagata to present the results of the 4C field research at the COP29 in Baku
7 November 2024 – Fondazione Santagata is pleased to announce its participation at the COP29 Azerbaijan in Baku.
On November 16th, we will join the global forum “Culture and Creative Carbon Cut: The International Scenario” to explore the crucial role of the culture in advancing climate adaptation and decarbonisation.
During the forum, we will present the findings of our field research “4C – Culture and Creative Carbon Cut” – funded by Banca d’Italia and Fondazione CRT – to define concrete strategies to reduce carbon emissions within the cultural field on a national scale.
Highlights of the event include two panel discussions on global trends, challenges, and best practices for a just transition in the cultural sector, with distinguished participants and leading institutions including ICCROM, the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
We look forward to contributing to an impactful dialogue, sharing insights, and advancing collaborative efforts towards a more sustainable future for culture.
