Fondazione Santagata in Ankara to attend the Sustaining the Gordion Legacy event

22 October 2024 – This week, Fondazione Santagata participated in the “Sustaining the Gordion Legacy: Creative Industry Solutions from Italy to Ankara” event, part of the G20 Cultural Business Management Training Network.

Held on October 22-23, 2024 – in partnership with Baskent University Creative Culture Industries Reseaarch and Application Center (YAKEM), Kreks Creative Culture and Arts Association and the Gordion Foundation – this initiative brought together local and international stakeholders to explore sustainable solutions for the UNESCO Gordion Heritage Site.

The event – supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, with the participation of Berat Kuzu (Deputy Chairman of the Turkish Creative Industries Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) – included workshops, training sessions, and ideation activities to promote cultural heritage as a driver for sustainable development and economic growth.

Our team actively contributed to discussions on heritage conservation, community engagement, and the integration of creative industries into long-term strategies for sustainability. We are proud to strengthen international cooperation and foster innovative approaches to safeguarding cultural heritage.
