Panel: info and details

The Panel

The discussion will focus on the findings of research conducted by Fondazione Santagata on 390 cultural and third sector organizations across Piedmont, Liguria, and Valle d’Aosta. The survey highlights significant trends:

  • 75% of organizations monitor and reduce energy and material consumption,

  • only 28% have staff dedicated to the ecological transition,

  • on average, the gap from decarbonization targets remains at 36%,

  • one-third of organizations lag more than 50% behind targets.

These results reveal both encouraging engagement and the urgent need for new tools, alliances, and support systems to transform awareness into concrete systemic action.

Within the panel, TERE – Ecological Transition of the Third Sector will also be presented. This pilot program, promoted by Fondazione Santagata with the support of Compagnia di San Paolo, aims to accompany third sector entities in experimenting with decarbonization practices and models, fostering the adoption of innovative and replicable solutions.

An Open Dialogue to Drive Change

The event will offer a space for exchange among experts, practitioners, and organizations, with the goal of exploring how to move from knowledge to activation and strengthen the role of culture and the third sector as key drivers in the journey toward climate neutrality.
