June 12th 2024 – Fondazione Santagata was in Paris to attend the 10th session of the UNESCO General Assembly of the States Parties to the Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

On this significant occasion, Fondazione Santagata has been formally accredited as “𝒏𝒐𝒏-π’‘π’“π’π’‡π’Šπ’• π’π’“π’ˆπ’‚π’π’Šπ’›π’‚π’•π’Šπ’π’ 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒄𝒕 π’Šπ’ 𝒂𝒏 π’‚π’…π’—π’Šπ’”π’π’“π’š π’„π’‚π’‘π’‚π’„π’Šπ’•π’š 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 π‘ͺπ’π’Žπ’Žπ’Šπ’•π’•π’†π’†”.

 

This accreditation underscores our competence and experience in safeguarding intangible cultural heritage and our full alignment with the spirit of the 2003 Convention.

This recognition not only honours our past efforts but also motivates us forward in our mission to safeguard, identify, and define intangible cultural heritage, as well as ensure the active participation of communities who are the custodians of this living heritage.

We look forward to join the ICH NGO Forum and take part in the collective efforts to enhance intangible cultural heritage worldwide.
