In collaboration with UNESCO and the Royal Commission for AlUla, this panel explores the role of architecture in enhancing UNESCO sites, visitor centres, and museums as mediators between heritage, people, and territories. Museum and cultural institution representatives will discuss sustainability, community engagement, visitor management, and heritage interpretation.

  • November 13, 2:45–3:45 PM – Cultural Organizations and Decarbonization: From Research to Practice
This session examines decarbonization in the cultural and creative sector, presenting the results of the 4C Observatory – deCarbonization in the Cultural and Creative Field. Between 2024 and 2025, over 1,000 Italian cultural organizations shared practices and strategies to reduce emissions, outlining replicable models for the transition to carbon neutrality.

The participation of Fondazione Santagata at Ro.Me Museum Exhibition underscores its commitment to promoting innovation, sustainability, and best operational practices in both the Italian and international cultural sectors.
