Culture and creativity are very important resources both for the economic development and the quality of our society.

Understanding the new languages of cultural production, as a consequence of globalization and the digital revolution, how arts markets and the new professions based on creative contents work, how cultural industries are developing and which are the economical and social conditions able to promote a cultural atmosphere in our territories, are the major topics we deal with in this area.

Fondazione Santagata promotes and co-operates with research projects and training initiatives that help to analyse both the studying of economics of culture and modern cultural productions, for the development of policy proposals to govern culture. Moreover, it works on analyzing the emerging geographies of cultural production and in understanding the demand trends coming from new cultural markets and new publics.
