On June 22nd, during the 38th World Heritage Committe in Doha, Qatar, “The Vineyard landscape of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato” has been recognised as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
“The Vineyard landscape of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato” is the Italian Word Heritage Site number 50 and the first Italian vineyard cultural landscape. CSS-Ebla staff were involved since the very beginning in the drafting of the management plan, in the supervision of the scientific part and in the tecnical assistance to siTi, that drafted the candidacy.
